KAREA recently launched Kayne Anderson Real Estate Debt (KARED), a commercial real estate debt and securities platform that invests in debt and securities in KAREA’s targeted sectors – senior housing, student housing, multifamily and medical office. KARED’s proprietary sourcing model enables the delivery of strong risk adjusted returns with a focus on capital preservation and high current income. In addition, the platform possesses a unique underwriting and operating advantage through KAREA’s 40+ person equity team which is a key differentiator in the sector.
